Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. You can start on the Free plan with no credit card required. The Free plan lets you manage up to 5 contracts indefinitely. You only need to enter payment details when you're ready to upgrade to a paid plan.

How does the AI extraction work?

When you upload a contract document, Timemy uses Azure Document Intelligence to read and analyse the text. It identifies key information such as start and end dates, notice periods, contract value, parties involved, and important legal clauses. The extracted data is presented to you for review — you stay in control and can correct anything the AI gets wrong.

What types of documents can I upload?

Timemy supports PDF files and Word documents (.docx). This covers the vast majority of supplier contracts, service agreements, and NDAs. Scanned PDFs are also supported through the OCR engine.

How do reminders and alerts work?

Timemy automatically calculates your notice dates based on the contract end date and notice period you set. It then sends you email reminders 90, 30, and 7 days before each notice date — so you always have time to decide whether to renew or terminate before you're locked in.

Can I invite my team to use Timemy?

Yes. As the company owner you can invite team members from the Team page inside the app. Invited users receive an email to set up their account and are automatically linked to your company. You can assign Owner or Member roles — owners can manage team members and settings, while members can view and manage contracts and suppliers.

What is the risk scoring feature?

Timemy checks each contract for the presence of key legal protections — such as a liability cap, GDPR clause, insurance requirement, and indemnity clause. Contracts missing important clauses are flagged with an amber or red indicator so you know which ones need attention.

Yes. On the Growth and Enterprise plans you can connect a Slack webhook to receive contract alerts directly in a channel of your choice — useful for keeping the whole team informed without checking the app.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Billing page inside the app. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

What happens if I exceed my contract limit?

If you reach your plan's contract limit, you'll be prompted to upgrade before adding new contracts. Your existing contracts and data are never affected.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page inside the app by accessing the Stripe customer portal. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is retained — you just won't be able to add new contracts beyond the free limit.

Can I delete my account entirely?

Yes. As a company owner you can permanently delete your account from the Settings page under the Danger Zone section. This will immediately cancel your subscription and permanently delete all your company's data, contracts, suppliers, and team member accounts. This action cannot be undone.

Is my contract data secure?

Yes. All data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security, meaning each company can only access its own data. Documents are stored in encrypted storage. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

Yes. Timemy is designed with GDPR in mind. We only collect the data necessary to provide the service, we give you full control over your data, and you can request deletion at any time. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I enable two-factor authentication?

Yes. You can set up two-factor authentication (2FA) using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy from your Settings page. Once enabled, you'll be prompted for a 6-digit code each time you sign in.

Who can see my company's contracts?

Only users you have explicitly invited to your company can see your data. Timemy enforces strict data isolation — users from one company can never see the data of another company.
